Rosella “Sally” Dahle, 84, Sioux Falls, SD, formerly of Minot ND, passed away, Saturday, June 7, 2025, in Sioux Falls, SD.

Rosella Helen Kambeitz was born September 26, 1940, in Minot to Tony and Teresa (Steier) Kambeitz. She was raised and educated in Karlsruhe, ND. She graduated from high school in 1958.

Sally was united in marriage to Philip Dahle, May 9, 1964, at St Leo’s Catholic Church in Minot. Sally continued to be a member of the St. Leo’s parish up until her death.

Sally was employed at F.W. Woolworth’s, King’s Food Host. In later years she was a companion to a number of elderly people; something that she loved so much.

Sally enjoyed camping, golf, bowling, bingo, hand work (knitting, crocheting and hardanger), and spending time with friends, her birthday club girls and especially her family. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren. She would have been a great-grandma in August of this year.

Sally is survived by her husband of 61 years, Philip; daughter, Sharon (BillyJoe) Heap, Sioux Falls; son, Mark (Angie) Dahle, St. Cloud, MN; grandchildren, Samantha (Richard) Buechler, Adam (Kate) Heap, Megan Dahle and Gavin Dahle; brother, Mel Kambeitz, Bismarck; sisters-in-law, Susie Kambeitz, Bismarck, Jeannie Kambeitz, Velva, and many nieces, nephews and very dear friends.

Sally is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Joe Kambeitz, Richard Kambeitz, LeRoy Kambeitz; sister, Marcella Johnson; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Truman and Agnes Dahle; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Tom and Mitzi Dahle.

Mass of Christian Burial: Friday, June 13, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, Minot.

Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND.

Visitation: Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Vigil Prayer Service: Thursday at 7 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
