Darrell Workman, 93, Minot, ND, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2025, in his home

Darrell Gene Workman was born May 30, 1932, the son of Arthur and Olga (Knudtson) Workman, in Minot, ND. He was raised and educated in rural Donnybrook attending grade school in a one room schoolhouse. He graduated from Donnybrook High School.

After high school, Darrell enlisted in the United States Army. He proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict. After being honorably discharged he returned to the family farm.

Darrell married Lillian Anderson on June 11, 1961, in Niobe, ND. They made their home on Darrell’s family farm in Donnybrook.

He served on various boards throughout the years local, state, and national.

His loving family includes: wife of 63 years, Lillian Workman; son, Gene Workman; grandchildren, Kayla Workman, Devon Workman, Loren Ziegler, and Jared Ziegler; sister-in-law, Bonnie Workman; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Donald Workman and John Workman.

A private family graveside service will take place at Aurelia Moravian Cemetery, rural Donnybrook, ND.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Trinity Hospice.
