Erica Walker

Erica M. Walker, age 67, passed away in her home on Thursday, October 3rd, 2024. She was born September 9, 1957, to Lloyd and Loy (DeVany) Sawyer. She grew up in Minot, North Dakota and attended Bishop Ryan Catholic High School. Erica married Tom Walker in April of 1978. Their son, Drew, was born in 1983.

Erica enjoyed spending her time playing Bridge with her circle of friends and laughing it up with her sisters. She loved antiquing with one of her closest friends, Fae Ramsay. Her gift of quilting was widely known, as she often gave quilts she made to charitable organizations, friends, and family members. Erica treasured her family, whether it was family reunions where she provided matching shirts for everyone, or just spending time with one another.

Erica is survived by her son, Drew Walker; 3 sisters, Carol Belieu, Ellen (Bill) Cox, and Jane Valderrama; 4 step-daughters, Lisa (Randy) Hajek, Pam (Mike) Darcy, Karen (Kevin) Byrnes, and Barb (Jim) Broadbear; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; sister- in-law Mary Walker, and brother-in-law Jim (Sharon) Walker.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Loy Sawyer and her husband, Tom Walker.
