Linda Erickson-Talley

Linda Erickson-Talley, 79, Lansford, N.D., passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at Minot Trinity hospital, following a brief battle of cancer.

Linda Lee Clark was born on February 12, 1945, the daughter of Harold and Mildred (Butts) Clark in Minot, N.D. She was raised and educated in Glenburn N.D., where she graduated from Glenburn High School in 1963.

On June 21, 1963, Linda was united in marriage to Vern Erickson in Glenburn, N.D. where they made their home and raised their four children. On March 3, 1988 her husband Vern of nearly 25 years unexpectedly passed away from heart complications.

On July 7, 1989, Linda was united in marriage to James “Jim” Talley. They made their home on the Talley farm near Lansford, N.D. Jim died December 5, 2007 from a brief fight of cancer. Linda continued to live on the farm.

Linda was a homemaker before she went to work for First Western Bank from September 1979 to December 2014 where she retired as the Glenburn Branch Manager.

Linda was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Glenburn.

Linda is survived by her children: Kirby (D’Ette) Erickson of Fordville, N.D., Cameron (Khristy) Erickson of Bottineau, N.D., Celeste (Brad) Klebe of Willow City, N.D., and Dustin (Jodi) Erickson of Lansford, N.D.; 11 grandchildren: 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and the extended Talley family.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband Vern Erickson (1988) and later husband Jim Talley (2007); her parents; step-father Norval Norsby; sister and brother-in-law Rogene & Lowell Christianson; and great-granddaughter Maggie Erickson.

Visitation: Monday, April 1, 2024 from 4pm until 6pm followed by the Family Prayer Service at Trinity Lutheran Church, Glenburn, N.D.

Funeral Service: Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at 11 am at Trinity Lutheran Church, Glenburn, N.D. The service will be videotaped and uploaded to Linda’s web page at www.thompsonlarson.com

Burial: Fairview Cemetery, Glenburn, N.D.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Glenburn Fire Department, Fairview Cemetery Association or Glenburn Dollars for Scholars.
