Levi Lattergrass

Apr. 28, 1981 – Dec. 4, 2022

Levi Kineu Lattergrass was born on April 28, 1981, in Rolla, to Robert Jr. and Brenda (Demery) Lattergrass. He was raised in Belcourt, Dunseith, New Town, and White Shield. He graduated from Turtle Mountain High School in 1999. During high school, he competed in Golden Gloves boxing and received many trophies. He continued his education at North Dakota State University in Fargo, and Minot State University in Minot, before transferring his studies to business management at the University of Phoenix in Arizona.

He worked in construction for several years before establishing LKL Contracting in 2016. He took great pride in owning his own company. Some of his favorite projects include helping to rebuild the grandstand at the North Dakota State Fairgrounds and assisting with renovations at The Grand hotel. Levi also contracted various jobs at the Minot Airforce Base. He knew how to do a little bit of everything and if he didn’t know how to do it, he could figure it out. He excelled at everything he did.

Levi met Jenny Foote in high school. They began dating in 2003 and were united in marriage on August 21, 2009. They made their home in Minot and Parshall. He was quiet and humble, but quick to show his love. Despite his personal struggles, he always put the needs of others first.

Levi was a dedicated family man. He was so proud of his daughter, Hallie Faith-Junel. He was looking forward to traveling with her to New York City for her first modeling job…he said, “Who would’ve thought my lil’ fat baby would turn into a little model!” He was also excited about her high school graduation in May 2023. He adored and loved his grandma and grandpa Demery.

As a die-hard Vikings fan, he and Jenny had an annual trip to Minnesota for the past 9 years to watch them play. They also liked to travel with family and his in-laws, especially to Deadwood, SD and Las Vegas. Their travel excursions included many hilarious mishaps. Levi liked to play video games and ride his 4-wheeler. He enjoyed cooking for his family, especially his famous weekend breakfasts. He loved the outdoors and being at the lake, on the boat, and fishing.

On Sunday, December 4, 2022, Levi Lattergrass, at the age of 41, began his journey to the spirit world. He is free of his suffering and pain and deserves to be at everlasting peace. He will always be loved and remembered.
