adopted two children
from Colombia, South
America. Jon, age 4, and
Lucia, age 3. Both were a
joy and at times a chal-
lenge to raise in a mainly
European community. By
land, the family had many
enjoyable adventures on
skiing and sports events
with family and friends.
Wintering in Mesa, AZ for
nine years also found
them traveling by land or
sea locally or distance
much to their pleasure
with friends both new and
old.
Mark had dealt with
prostate cancer since
2008. The last four years
he dealt with chemo to
control his prostate cancer
as he chose through Mayo
Clinic in Rochester, MN
and Scottsdale, AZ, and
Trinity Cancer Care. He
greatly appreciated all
those who gave him direct
patient care, special
thanks to all of you! Mark
