Richard “Rick” Charles

Stansberry, 77, Minot,

North Dakota, passed

away at his home in

Minot on September 20,

2021.

He is survived by: 2

Brothers, Jerry Stansberry

of Poulsbo, WA., and Ken

Stansberry, of Tracyton,

WA., and 2 nieces and a

nephew.

Rick was preceded in

death by: his parents and

his sister, Penny Stansber-

ry, of Seattle, WA.

Rick was born in Minot,

ND on July 21, 1944 to

Gordon and Florence

Stansberry. In the early

1950’s Rick and his family

moved to Bremerton,

Washington where Rick

graduated from East High

School in 1962. After gra-

duation Rick enlisted in

the Air Force and at his

request was stationed at

the Minot Air Force Base

to be near his

grandparents and friends

in Deering, ND. After

serving 4 years in the Air

Force, Rick received an

honorable discharge and

returned to Bremerton,

WA. Rick worked as a

USPS Mail Carrier until

his retirement in 1999.

After retirement he re-

turned to Deering, ND to

enjoy his retirement

years.

Rick enjoyed golfing,

hunting, his two cats,

NASCAR, NHL games and

spending time with family

and friends.

No memorial service is

planned at this time.
