Audrey C. Rydberg, 86,
Minot, formerly of Max,
died Monday, October 18,
2021, in a Minot hospital.
Audrey was born Sep-
tember 9, 1935, on the
family farm in Rushville
Township near Max,
North Dakota, the
daughter of Nazor and
Mary (Paul) Osadchy. She
was raised on the family
farm near Max and edu-
cated at Max Public
Schools. She graduated
from St. Leo’s High
School in 1953 and later
the Sisters of Saint
Francis School of Nursing
in 1956.
Audrey was once mar-
ried to James Rydberg,
and from this union two
sons were born, Andrew
“Andy” and Robert “Bob-
by.” She was employed as
a registered nurse at San
Haven, the Minot Air
Force Base Hospital, John
Moses Air Force Hospital
and Trinity Nursing
Home. She retired in
2006.
Audrey was a longtime
member of Little Flower
Catholic Church in Minot.
She enjoyed knitting, cro-
cheting, and reading. Au-
drey will be remembered
for providing gifts from
her garden and picking
chokecherries from the
family’s land for over 80
years. She enjoyed time
with her grandchildren
and will be missed deeply
by all who were blessed to
share in her life.
Audrey’s surviving
family includes: her sons,
Andrew “Andy” Rydberg
and Robert “Bobby” Ryd-
berg, both Max, ND;
grandchildren, Lacie and
Kelsey; a sister, Barbara
Osadchy, Minot.
Audrey was preceded
in death by: her parents,
brothers, Johnny, An-
drew, Arnold, Joseph,
Vincent and Paul; sisters,
Anneale, Lucille,
Florence, Frances and
Margaret.

al: 1:00 p.m. Friday, Oc-
tober 22, 2021, at Little
Flower Catholic Church,
Minot.
Vigil Prayer Service:
7:00 p.m. Thursday, Oc-
tober 21, 2021, at Little
Flower Catholic Church,
Minot.
Interment: Rosehill
Memorial Park, Minot.
Visitation: Thursday,
October 21, 2021, from
5:00 p.m. until the start of
the Vigil Prayer Service in
the church.
Memorials: preferred to
Little Flower Catholic
Church Building Fund or
organization of the
donor’s choice.
