Vogel McCarthy, 73,

Minot, passed away Mon-

day, October 12, 2020

from natural causes.

Kathleen was born on

August 1, 1947, in Rugby,

ND, a daughter of Anton

and Anna (Wentz) Hager.

She grew up on her

parents’ farm near Balta.

Kathleen was a loving

mother of three and an

adoring grandmother of

ten grandchildren and one

great-granddaughter.

Kathleen was fondly pas-

sionate about family, her

time spent at Rice Lake

and discussing current

events. She was very

proud to be a part of a

large extended farming

family from the Rugby ND

area and to being a

life-long patriotic North

Dakotan.

Kathleen is survived

by: her children Chad

(Marlene) Vogel, Minot,

Lynn (Jarid) Lundeen,

Minot and Brent (Kris)

Vogel, Eden Prairie, MN;

grandchildren Courtney

(Ethan) Erickson, Caleb

Vogel, Caitlyn (Mark

Medalen) Vogel and Car-

ter Vogel, Jaxon Lundeen,

Jaeger Lundeen, Berkley

Lundeen, Jett Lundeen,

Justice Lundeen and Bel-

ize Lundeen;

great-granddaughter, Briar

Erickson all of which are

proud to call her mom or

grandma; sister Rose

Smedsrud, Denver, CO

along with sisters-in-law,

several nieces, nephews,

cousins and many extend-ed family members and

friends.

Kathleen was preceded

in death by: her parents,

her two brothers Ray-

mond Hager and Richard

Hager, sister Angela

(Hager) Burke and hus-

band Raymond Vogel.

A Private Family Mass

Of Christian Burial will
