Beverly Jean “Patty” Ri-

ley, 81, Moses Lake, WA,

formerly of Sawyer, ND

died Thursday, October

22, 2020 in her home.

Beverly was born on

January 1, 1939 in Minot

to Russell and Lydia (Vix)

Pettys. She was raised and

educated in Sawyer, gra-

duating from Sawyer High

School in 1956.

Beverly was united in

marriage to Archie A. Ri-

ley on July 4, 1959 in

Minot. They made their

home in Minot where she

was employed at First Na-

tional Bank until they

moved to Olympia, WA.

She began employment at

a bank in Tumwater, WA

and worked there until

her retirement in 1992.

She was also employed at

a local drugstore until

they moved to Moses

Lake, WA in 2005.

Archie and Beverly en-

joyed spending the winter

months in Arizona for al-

most 12 years. She also

enjoyed reading, sewing,

traveling and gardening.

Beverly’s loving family

includes: her husband of

61 years Archie, Moses

Lake, WA, children Delrae

(Daniel) Johnson, Lacey,

WA and Patrick (Michele)

Riley, Chandler, AZ, 4

grandchildren to include:

Patrick Peden, Sean

Peden, Ryan Riley and

Rick Riley, siblings Robert

(Jeanette) Pettys, Minot,

and Margaret (Delmer)

Fliginger, Garrison, ND

along with numerous

nieces and nephews.

Beverly was preceded

in death by: her parents,

brother Russell Pettys, sis-

ter Jeanette Wenger and

sister Myrtle Krueger.

Thomas Family Funeral
