Leonard P. Wangler, 82

of Balta, ND died Wed.,

May 20th, 2020 at the

Heart of America Care

Center in Rugby, ND. He

was born in the Pierce

County home of his

parents, Ferdinand and

Veronica (Hoffert)

Wangler on Feb. 8th,

1938. He married Theresa

Kuntz on Oct. 19th, 1959,

and was a life-long Balta

resident. Survivors in-

clude his wife; children,

Fred (Charlotte of Cassel-

ton, Sandy (Brian) Olson

of Bismarck, Kevin of Bal-

ta, Steven (Beth of

Bismarck, Debbie

(Lawrence) Mattern, Rug-

by, Laurie (Jay) Schepp, of

Bismarck and Patti (Mike)

Yoder of Devils Lake; 11

grandchildren; 3

great-grandchildren; si-

blings, Delores McDowell,

Bernice (Leo) Broden,

Richard (Mary) Wangler,

Rita (Wesley) Muffenbier,

Carol (Joe) Goldade, Rose

(Richard) Aberle, James

(Sandy) Wangler and Eu-

gene (Melodye) Wangler;

many nieces, nephews,

other relatives and

friends. Mass of Chris-

tian Burial will be held at

10:30 a.m. Tues., May

26th at Our Lady of

Mount Carmel Catholic

Church in Balta with

burial in the church

cemetery. Visitation will

take place on Mon. from 5

to 7 p.m. with a rosary &

vigil service starting at 7

p.m., all in the Anderson

Funeral Home, Rugby.

Reviewal will be held for

one hour prior to the time

of the service on Tues. in

the church. Please be
