Earl H. Jensen

Earl H. Jensen, 88,

Mohall, ND, passed away

on Friday, January 17,

2020, at the Good Samari-

tan Society in Mohall,

ND.

Earl Howard Jensen was

born March 5, 1931, the

son of Elmer and Minnie

(Torgerson) Jensen, in

Bottineau, ND. He grew

up on the family farm

north of Bottineau and at-

tended a country school

in the area.

When called, he proud-

ly enlisted in the United

States Marine Corps and

was later honorably

discharged.

Earl married Mary

Lynne Bryan of Bowbells

on September 1, 1956.

They made their home in

Noonan, ND, where Earl

worked in the oilfield be-

fore moving to the Bryan

family farm alongside

Mary Lynne’s parents,

where they raised their

three sons. Earl farmed for

many years and raised

Black Angus cattle. He

also drove school bus for

several years and served

on the Burke/Divide Rural

Electric Board for 30

years. They retired from

farming in 2011.

In 2014, they moved to

the Somerset Assisted

Living in Minot until

moving to the Mohall

Good Samaritan Society

in 2018.

He was a member of the

Bowbells United Metho-

dist Church where he

served in many aspects in

the ministry of the

church. He enjoyed wood-

working, tinkering, and

spending time with his

family, especially his

grandchildren.

pa.

His loving family in-

cludes: wife of 63 years,

Mary Lynne; sons, Jeff

(DeeDee) Jensen, Mohall,

Warren Jensen, Berthold

and Larry (Monique) Jen-

sen, Minot; grandchil-

dren, Shane (Tiff) Jensen,

Sheila Jensen (Dean Vi-

gen), Westin Jensen,

Gunner Jensen, Amanda

(Allen) Hecker, Christine

May, Kadi (Jason) Ruby,

and Alexis (Quincy)

Rohach;

great-grandchildren, Ma-

son, Parker and Blake Jen-

sen, Kaden, Kolton, Kylie,

Kyson, Khloe Vigen, Ben

Hecker, Gabe May, Ellie

and Maverick Ruby; sis-

ter, Phyllis Getzlaff, Bot-

tineau; and numerous

nieces, nephews and

cousins.

Earl was preceded in

death by his parents;

brothers, Harold and Mel-

ford Jensen, sisters, Mar-

garet, Arlene and Lor-

raine.

Funeral: Thursday,

January 23, 2020,at 1:00

p.m. at Bowbells United

MethodistChurch,

Bowbells.

Interment: Bowbells

Community Cemetery,

Bowbells, ND.

Visitation: Wednesday

from 4 to 6 p.m. at

Thompson-Larson Fun-

eral Home, Kenmare.

Bowbells Ambulance.
