world traveler, ballroom
dancer, & Life Master
bridge player. Born in
Velva in 1921, Joyce
earned degrees in music
and education from Minot
State Teacher’s College in
the late 1940s, and taught
primary for 43 years in
MN, IL, & Bismarck, ND
in 1960s. Joyce is remem-
bered by many friends
and relatives throughout
ND.
A celebration of her life
will be held at 12 noon,
Nov. 16, at the Star City
Senior Center, 122 Main
St. N., Velva, ND 58790.
