Surrey fills city vacancies
SURREY – Former Burlington city auditor Diane Fugere has been named administrator for the City of Surrey.
The city also has announced the hiring of Heather Brandt as auditor. The additions bring the city back to full staffing after having experienced a spate of vacancies in recent months.
The city continues to have a mayoral vacancy with the resignation of Jason Strand in mid-August. A special election is being planned but no date has been set.
