April 23, 2019 at the St.

Aloisius Nursing Home,

Harvey, ND. Hertz Fun-

eral Home, Harvey, ND.

Funeral services will be

held at First Lutheran

Church of Harvey on Fri-

day April 26, 2019 at

10:30 a.m.

Burial will be in

Pleasant Hill Cemetery,

Hurdsfield, ND.

Visitation will be held

at the Hertz Funeral

Home of Harvey on

Thursday April 25, from

4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Norma was born on De-

cember 21, 1924 in

Hurdsfield. She was the

daughter of Benjamin and

Mary (Becker) Lange. Nor-

ma grew up south of

Hurdsfield. She attended

Eureka #1 rural school

south of Hurdsfield. Nor-

ma married Alfred Hir-

schkorn on October 4,

1941 in Fessenden. They

lived and farmed south of

Hurdsfield for nearly 50

years. Alfred died on Au-

gust 7, 1994. She moved

into Harvey in 1994. Nor-

ma was a former member

of the Hurdsfield Luth-

eran Church and a current

member of the First Luth-

eran Church where she

also quilted. Norma

served on the Lynn Town-

ship School Board, as

Township Assessor and

was a member of the

Wells Eagles Aerie Auxili-ary. Norma enjoyed play-

ing bingo, playing cards

and dancing.

Norma is survived by

her son, Allen (Darlene)

Hirschkorn of Wing; (11)

grandchildren; (23) great-

grandchildren; (19) great-

great-grandchildren;

daughter-in-law, Judy Hir-

schkorn; son-in-law, Ken

Fetch; sister, Marlene

Broome, Friendswood,

Texas.

Norma was preceded in

death by her husband;

son, Rodney; daughters,

Sandra Schmitt and Ron-

da Fetch; son-in-law, Wil-

ly Schmitt; sisters, Persis

Boegler, Karen Baier, Bet-

ty Peterman; brother,

Myrle Lange.
