Elizabeth R. “Babe” Moffitt

Home.

Elizabeth was born De-

cember 7, 1924 on the

family farm near Ruthville

in Ward County, North

Dakota. Babe, as known

by family and friends, was

the daughter of George

and Rose Dendinger.

Babe was united in mar-

riage to Wilbur Moffitt on

October 14, 1946. They

made their home on a

farm near Norwich, where

they raised their two chil-

dren, Rory and Cindy.

They retired from farming

in 1988. Wilbur died De-

cember 21, 2002.

Babe was an avid

reader, poet, did cross-

words. loved a game of ca-

nasta and made fabulous

cinnamon rolls. Her sense

of humor and sweetness

will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her

daughter, Cindy Tobosa-

Adams (Vern Adams) of

Tacoma, WA and her

grandchildren, Kathryn

(Ashley), Alex, Ryann

Lane (Tim); along with a

number of nieces and

nephews.

She is preceded in

death by her parents; hus-

band of 56 years, Wilbur;

son, Rory, siblings, Joe

Dendinger (Alice); Art

Dendinger (Evelyn), Ernie

Dendinger, Margaret Kor-

gel (Albert), Helen Werner

(Elmer).

A big thank you to the

Home, where she had

resided since 2016.

Funeral service: Satur-

day, January 19th at 10:30

a.m. in Thomas Family

Funeral Home, Minot.

Interment: Prior to the

service in Rosehill

Memorial Park, Minot.

Visitation: Family and

friends may call at the

funeral home one hour

before the start of the ser-

vice. There will not be

any viewing, as the burial

has already taken place.
