2018, at Trinity Hospital
in Minot.
Claudia Lynn Feist was
born September 27, 1955,
the daughter of Tony and
Dolores (Goebel) Feist, in
Minot, ND. She was
raised and educated in
Drake, ND. She attended
Drake High School until
her senior year, when she
moved with her family to
Minot. She graduated
from Minot High School
in 1973.
Claudia was once mar-
ried to David Burcham.
From this union, two
daughters, Michelle and
Meranda, were born.
Claudia later married
Paul Brendle in 1993.
They made their home on
the Brendle family farm
and together they helped
operate Brendle’s Bay
Resort. Paul passed away
in 1997. Claudia contin-
ued to reside on the farm
until 1999, when she
moved to Minot. She
worked for Stevick Busi-
ness Forms as an em-
broidery tech for the past
15 years. She very much
enjoyed working there.
During this time, she was
a care giver to both her
parents, which she con-
sidered an honor.
While living in Minot,
she was a former member
of St. Leo’s Catholic
Church in Minot.
Claudia enjoyed read-
ing, gardening, riding
horse and playing games
on the computer.
Her loving family in-
cludes daughters,
Michelle (Gordy Jr.) Val-
gren, Minot, and Meranda
Burcham, Fitchburg, WI;
grandchildren, Jayden and
Kye Burcham; and Jesse
Plowman and Alexys
(Michael) Hagerman; sis-
ters, Mary West (Brian
Tryhus), Mankato, MN,
and Gayle (Steve) East,
New Mexico; brothers,
Bruce (Randi) Feist,
Minot, Greg (Roberta)
Feist, Ohio, and Gerard
Feist, Arizona; special
friends, Priscilla and Dar-
vin Schlag, Santa Rosa,
CA; and numerous aunts,
uncles, nieces, nephews
and cousins.
Claudia was preceded
in death by her parents;
husband, Paul; grandson,
Anthony Forsman; broth-
er, Ronald Feist; brother-
in-law, Ken West; and
numerous aunts and un-
cles.
Memorial Service: Fri-
day, December 28, 2018,
at 2:00 p.m. at
Thompson-Larson Fun-
eral Home Chapel, Minot.
Visitation: There will be
no reviewal but friends
may sign the register book
on Thursday from 5 to 7
p.m. at Thompson-Larson
Funeral Home, Minot.
