Albert Pugh
Albert Pugh, age 97 of
Bottineau, died Tuesday
at a Bottineau nursing
home. His funeral will be
held: on Saturday at 10:00
am at the St. Mark’s
Catholic Church in Bot-
tineau. Visitation: will be
Friday from 1:00 pm until
9:00 pm with a prayer
service at: 7:00 pm at the
Nero Funeral Home in
Bottineau. Burial: will be
at the St. Mark’s Catholic
Cemetery in Bottineau.
Albert Pugh, a son of
William and Jessie (Clark)
Pugh was born on May 14,
1920 in Bottineau. On
December 31, 1942, he
married Mary Busch at
Lignite. They made their
home on the Pugh Family
Farm south west of Bot-
tineau. They moved into
Bottineau in 1953 after
they purchased the HiLo
Grocery Store. In 1961
they sold the store and Al
began selling life in-
surance through the
Knight of Columbus. He
later worked for Wold En-
gineering and the Bot-
tineau Country Club be-
fore retiring. After retire-
ment, he worked
part-time at Theels Inc in
Bottineau. He moved into
the Good Samaritan
Center in Bottineau on
January 19, 2017. Mary
passed away on February
11, 2017.
Albert was a member of
the St. Mark’s Catholic
Church and the Bottineau
Knights of Columbus. He
had a great love of out-
doors and the fours sea-
son of North Dakota. He
enjoyed snowmobiling,
golfing, hunting, playing
cards and watching the
Minnesota Twins.
He is survived by: his

Erickson.
