Wayne Sandhofner

Wayne Sandhofner, 50,

Coatesville, IN, formerly

of Burlington, ND, passed

away Wednesday, June

28, 2017, at his home in

Indiana.

Wayne Patrick San-

dhofner was born June 11,

1967, the son of Clement

and LaVon (Kuntz) San-

dhofner, in Minot, ND. He

was raised and educated

in Burlington and attend-

ed Des Lacs-Burlington

schools from grade K-12.

He was active in football,

track and was the Student

Manager for the boys’

basketball team. He gra-

duated from Des

Lacs-Burlington High

School in 1985.

While living in Indiana,

Wayne enjoyed fishing,

relaxing on his pontoon,

watching sports and

spending time with his

lake friends. He was such

an influence on so many

young children that many

of them called him “Uncle

Wayne.” Wayne was al-

ways known to have a

smile on his face and

could light up any room.

Surviving family in-

cludes:

Mother, LaVon San-

dhofner, Burlington; sis-

ters, Karen (Jeff) Miller,

Rugby, Barb Sandhofner,

Burlington and Bonnie

(Mike) Hertz, Mott; and

his nieces and nephews,

Trent and Aaron Brewer,

Olivia Miller, Dylin,

Tyler, Lexus and Amber

Patton and Tyson Akers.

Wayne was preceded in

death by his father, Cle-

ment Sandhofner.

Memorial Mass of

Christian Burial: Thurs-

day, July 13, 2017, at

10:00 a.m. at St. John the

Apostle Catholic Church,

Minot, ND.

Interment: Butte Com-

munity Cemetery, Butte,

ND.

Visitation: There will be

no reviewal, but friends

are invited to sign the

guestbook an hour before

service at the church.

Recitation of the Holy

Rosary: 30 minutes prior

to the service at the

church.

Memorials: are pre-

ferred in Wayne’s memory

to the charity of the

donor’s choice.
