Richard “Dick” Reiten

Richard “Dick” Reiten,

70, Minot, ND, passed

away Monday, April 3,

2017, in a Minot hospital.

Richard Reiten was

born on March 6, 1947 in

Valley City, ND to Phyllis

& Joseph Reiten.

He attended Minot Pub-

lic Schools prior to enlist-ing in the United States

Navy in 1968. He served

in the Navy until 1974,

then returned to Minot,

where he met Sally Bing-

ham. They were married

in 1976. They were

blessed with their

daughter, Melissa in Oc-

tober of 1977 and became

proud grandparents in

May of 1997 with the

birth of Jennifer.

Richard worked at

Sweetheart Bakery for 15

years and Wal-Mart for 18

years before retiring in

April of 2016.

He was an avid race

fan, taking in races

throughout the state usu-

ally with either his

daughter or grand-

daughter at his side.

Surviving family in-

cludes:

Wife of 41 years, Sally;

daughter, Melissa; grand-

daughter, Jennifer; and

many nieces, nephews

and cousins.

Richard was preceded

in death by: his parents;

granddaughter, Chelsey;

and several aunts and un-

cles.

Memorial Service: Fri-

day, April 7, 2017, at 1:30

p.m. at Our Redeemer’s

Lutheran Church, Minot,

ND.

Visitation: There will be

no reviewal, but friends
