RAY – A 31-year-old Tioga man died in a one-vehicle rollover on U.S. Highway 2, five miles east of Ray, Tuesday, July 21. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, at 3:53 p.m., a 2024 Hyundai Kona was traveling west at a high rate of speed on Highway 2. The Hyundai failed to maintain its lane, drifted into the ditch and struck an intersecting road. The Hyundai rolled several times before coming to rest in a field. The driver died at the scene. He was wearing a seat belt. The crash remains under investigation.
WILLISTON — Williston State College announced it has achieved the largest summer enrollment in the college’s history, with 234 students enrolled at census for Summer 2026. This represents a 23.8% increase from the 189 students enrolled during Summer 2025. Growth was also reflected across several key enrollment measures.
