Minot man arrested on child sexual abuse material charges

A Minot man was arrested on allegations of possession of child sexual abuse material on Wednesday, July 29, according to the Minot Police Department. Police report executing a search warrant with assistance from the North Dakota Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force at about 6:30 a.m. at an apartment in southwest Minot, following an investigation initiated from a cyber tip received through the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. Velva child dies in Lake Audubon incident

GARRISON – A 5-year-old Velva child lost his life in an accidental drowning at Lake Audubon on Sunday, July 26, according to the McLean County Sheriff’s Office. Grayson Olson was playing on the shore with a young sibling when he entered deeper water and became submerged.
