Error puts city, bidders in quandary

A city clerical error has two bidders claiming rights to a floodway salvaged structure, with the Minot City Council caught in the middle. The council heard at its meeting on Monday, Aug. 17, from the two parties who bid on a structure the city offered for sale after acquiring it in an acquisition for the flood protection project. Surrey man sentenced on drug charges

A Surrey man has received a deferred sentence in North Central District Court in a case involving drug sales to minors. Jason Alex Forsman, Surrey, pleaded guilty in May to three felony B counts of accomplice to deliver a controlled substance and was sentenced on Aug. 12. He was placed on three years probation and ordered to have no contact with the juveniles or a parent. Total fees imposed were $775. New school year brings new Surrey superintendent

SURREY – This school year brings a new role for Steven Bucks as Surrey Public School’s superintendent.
