LINCOLN, Neb. – Ryan Elizabeth Bodine of Velva was among graduates from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln during commencement exercises May 8-9. Bodine earned a Master of Arts from the Office of Graduate Studies.

WAHPETON — Cayne Rudolph of Stanley was among Diesel Technology students from North Dakota State College of Science who earned top honors at both regional and state skills competitions. At the 2026 Colorado TopTech Skills Competition, held April 25 in Denver, NDSCS students captured six of the top eight spots in the student division and won 11 of 12 competitive stations. Hosted by the Colorado Motor Carriers Association, the competition challenges students through a combination of written exams and hands-on diagnostics in areas such as brakes, electrical systems and preventative maintenance. Rudolph finished in seventh place in the competition.
