NDAD is accepting applications for its Adaptive Recreation Grant, a funding opportunity designed to help organizations or community groups expand or enhance recreational programs for North Dakotans with health challenges.

The grant supports adaptive sports, recreation equipment, accessible program development and inclusive activities that help people with health challenges stay active, engaged and connected with their communities.

Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations, schools, community groups and other entities that provide recreational programming within North Dakota. Funding may be used for adaptive equipment, program expansion, training or accessibility improvements that support meaningful participation for individuals with disabilities.

The deadline to apply is 5 p.m. on March 31.
