DEVILS LAKE – U.S. Sen. John Hoeven will hold a community celebration in Devils Lake on Monday, Jan. 19, to mark the acquisition of Devils Lake Hospital by Altru Health System from CommonSpirit Health.

Joined by Devils Lake Mayor Jim Moe, Altru President Dr. Josh Deere, CommonSpirit Health Central Region President Tim Bricker and other health care leaders and professionals from the region, Hoeven will discuss how this opportunity will help ensure the Lake Region has the best possible health care for local residents, benefitting both health care providers and patients.

The event begins at 2 p.m. at Lake Region State College, Hofstad Agricultural Center.
