Minot Parks is bringing the magic of the holidays to town with Santa’s Mailboxes, arriving in time for the season.
According to Minot Parks information, to kick off the season, families are invited to join the fun at Scandinavian Heritage Park Wednesday, Nov. 12, from 4-6 p.m. Those attending can enjoy hot chocolate, festive activities and write a special letter with your children. While there, letters can be dropped off in the mailbox.
On Wednesday, prior to the event, elves will sneak into Scandinavian Heritage Park and outside the Magic City Discovery Center to drop off mailboxes that deliver letters straight to Santa with no postage needed. Santa’s elves will personally collect every letter and ensure it reaches the North Pole, where Santa will respond to each child who includes a return address on the letter.
The mailboxes will remain open for letters from Wednesday through Dec.10.
