Submitted Photo Frank Senn, left, commander of the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 4, presented the chapter’s Member of the Year Award to Isaac Carter, junior vice commander, at the chapter’s Nov. 13 business meeting. Chapter 4 Coffees had 722 attendees last year, and Carter is credited as a key reason for the growing attendance. According to chapter information, in addition to his duties as junior vice commander, Carter has done an outstanding job as acting sergeant-at-arms for an extended period in the absence of a member who traveled out of state with his wife, who was undergoing a major medical event. Carter is also chairman of the Chapter 4 fundraising committee. His cheerful and helpful attitude is a great asset to the chapter, according to information.
