Volunteer Days showcases bank’s legacy of service
First Western Bank will host its seventh annual Volunteer Days Monday, Oct. 6, to Friday, Oct. 10. During this week-long initiative, employees will partner with charities, nonprofits and community organizations to make an impact.
First Western employees are expected to contribute more than 1,000 volunteer hours throughout the week. Activities will include packing meals at food banks, cleaning up public spaces, creating tie blankets for shelters, providing cold-weather gear to local schools and more.
Community involvement has been a cornerstone of First Western Bank since its founding by J.H. “Jack” Hoeven Jr., who instilled a culture of giving back that remains central to the bank’s mission more than 60 years later.
“Volunteer Days is an event our employees look forward to every year,” said Brenda Foster, bank president and CEO. “It reflects our ongoing commitment to strengthening our communities and carrying forward the legacy of service set by our founder.”
First Western has nearly 350 employees across 19 locations in North Dakota, Minnesota, South Dakota and Arizona.
