Ghost Walk, Fall Festival slated for Oct. 11
WILLISTON — The annual “Ghost Walk” will be held Saturday, Oct. 11, at Fort Buford State Historic Site near Williston.
Tours are available 6-8:15 p.m. After listening to the historical spirits at Fort Buford, the evening continues until 9 p.m. at the Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center with a mini fall festival. Visitors can enjoy 1800s-era parlor fortunes, lawn bowling, lantern-lit croquet, pin-the-tail and more. Visitors also can create their own Victorian silhouette cameo and Halloween crafts.
Candy and light refreshments will be available. The family friendly event is free and open to the public.
Those attending are asked to dress for the weather and bring a flashlight if they wish. The boardwalks will be illuminated by solar lights.
Fort Buford State Historic Site and Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center are managed by the State Historical Society of North Dakota.
