WHITE SHIELD – A 9/11 National Day of Remembrance was hosted by the White Shield Fire Department on Thursday, Sept. 11. Participants walked a 2,200-foot track to honor first responders who lost their lives on Sept. 11, 2001.
Represented at the event were White Shield firefighters, representatives from the McLean County Sheriff’s Department and a multi-county-tribal swat team, and White Shield Emergency Medical Services.
