Williston man injured in motorcycle crash

WILLISTON – A 33-year-old Williston man was injured when the motorcycle he was driving crashed near Springbrook Sunday, Aug. 10.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, about 10:25 p.m., a Honda motorcycle was traveling west on 58th Street Northwest near the intersection of 127th Avenue Northwest, east of Springbrook, and failed to negotiate a curve. The motorcycle slid onto its side causing the driver to fall off, which resulted in serious injuries. The driver was not wearing a helmet. The driver was transported to a Williston hospital and later arrested for DUI.

The driver’s name has not been released at this time.

The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
