The North Dakota Highway Patrol has identified the victim of a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 83, south of Minot, Aug. 1.

Duane Biewer, 73, Minot, died in the crash.

According to the Highway Patrol, Biewer, who was driving a Geo Metro, was going north on Highway 83 when a northbound Ford Escape, driven by Jennifer Hartman, 61, Parshall, rear-ended the Metro. Biewer died at the scene. Hartman had non-life-threatening injuries.
