Victim of Berthold barn fire identified

BERTHOLD – The Ward County Sheriff’s Department has identified the woman who died in a barn fire in Berthold on Thursday, Aug. 7, as Jessica Kalenze, 37.

As fire crews battled the fire, it was discovered there was an individual unaccounted for. Kalenze’s deceased body was located in the collapsed structure.
