Regional consortium meeting to address rural development priorities
POWERS LAKE – Vision West ND will host a regional consortium meeting on rural development priorities on Thursday at Powers Lake High School, beginning at 8:30 a.m.
The meeting will highlight several key focus areas, including grocery store grant opportunities, updates on childcare availability and funding, wind energy development in the region and the Farm to School Program. Attendees will hear from partners and resource providers with the opportunity to bring ideas and tools back to their local communities.
The purpose of the consortium is to lead, educate and collaborate, ensuring communities are supported and informed. Vision West ND serves as a convener of regional voices, helping local leaders move ideas into action.
The meeting is open to anyone interested in developing priorities to main western North Dakota’s rural sustainability.
