Public meeting set to release report on livestock development
Souris Basin Planning Council will host a Livestock Development: Final Report & Future Planning event for the public on Tuesday, July 22, from 4:30- 6:30 p.m. at the Verendrye Electric Cooperative Conference Room in Minot.
This event marks the culmination of a comprehensive regional site analysis funded by the North Dakota Department of Agriculture’s Regional Livestock Development and Planning Grant. The study focused on identifying suitable locations for livestock development across N.D. Region 2, which includes Bottineau, Burke, McHenry, Mountrail, Pierce, Renville and Ward Counties and townships.
This event will highlight key insights from the analysis and provide a platform to discuss the challenges and opportunities in livestock development. Attendees will participate in interactive discussions, hear from key partners and help shape a vision for livestock infrastructure and economic development across the region.
