Public hearing set for proposed pipeline project
TIOGA – The North Dakota Public Service Commission (PSC) will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, July 30, in Tioga regarding a proposal to construct a natural gas liquids (NGL) pipeline in Williams County.
According to the PSC, ONEOK Bakken Pipeline, LLC, is requesting a siting permit for a 6-inch steel natural gas liquids pipeline about 7.6 miles long, referred to as the Tioga Extension Project. The pipeline would carry up to 40,000 barrels a day of Y-grade NGLs (a mixture of ethane, propane, butanes, iso-butane mix, pentanes and natural gasoline). The pipeline would extend from the Argent Midstream County Line Plant to the ONEOK meter site within the Hess Tioga Plant in Williams County. The estimated cost of the project is $13 million.
The public hearing, to be held before an administrative law judge begins at 9 a.m. at Neset Consulting Service, 6844 State Highway 40, Tioga.
