Registration opens for sled hockey camp with Team USA

Prairie Grit Adaptive Sports is inviting athletes of all abilities to hit the ice with the best in the game this September. The organization has announced registration is open for the 2025 Sled Hockey Player Development Camp, hosted by Prairie Grit and Team USA.

Held Sept. 5-7 at Maysa Arena in Minot, this weekend-long camp is open to athletes ages 8 and older, regardless of experience level, according to Prairie Grit information. This is an opportunity to learn directly from members of the U.S. National Sled Hockey Team.

“This camp is about growth,” said Krystal Butgereit, executive director of Prairie Grit, in a news release. “Whether it’s your first time on a sled or your hundredth, you’ll come away with new skills, stronger confidence and a deeper connection to the sled hockey community.”

Over the course of the weekend, Team USA players and coaches will lead on-ice drills, team practices, and off-ice workouts designed to improve technique, teamwork and game awareness. Participants will have opportunities to connect with other athletes and families, both local and from across the region.

Space is limited. Contact Prairie Grit Adaptive Sports or visit its website for more information.

Starting at $2.99/week.
