MSU students win at FBLA National Leadership Conference

Students from Minot State University won top prizes at Future Business Leaders of America, Inc.’s 2025 (FBLA) National Leadership Conference (NLC), according to information from the university.
The event, held in Dallas, Texas, from May 31 to June 2, attracted more than 1,000 college students, educators and volunteers from across the country. The NLC provides education, competition and networking opportunities centered on business.
More than 890 students from nearly 150 schools in 27 U.S. states and territories competed in 38 business-related events. Students also had the opportunity to engage in 60 learning workshops and meet with representatives from more than 25 colleges, universities and employers.
Minot State’s 11 members who attended were chapter president Alec Wolf, Kyle Sandy, Jersey Johnson, Nate Olson, Connor Radtke, Luke Curren, Jack Johnson, Cambry Ankenbauer, Tessa Galvin, Kyleigh Wiltse and Shaylie Holen. The following students placed in the Top Ten in their respective events:
– fourth place, Accounting Case Team Presentation, Ankenbauer and Radtke
– sixth place, Foundations of Accounting, Radtke
– sixth place, Business Team Presentation, Sandy, Wolf, Jersey Johnson
– eighth place, Foundations of Finance, Olson
– eighth place, Impromptu Speaking, Ankenbauer
– 10th place, Foundations of Technology, Curren
“Minot State FBLA–Collegiate has a long-standing tradition of excellence on our campus as well as at the state and national level. It is a joy to work with students who have a desire to work diligently for their future success,” Jan Repnow, Minot State chapter adviser, said in a news release.
