Families displaced by Crosby apartment fire

CROSBY – The Crosby Rural Fire Department responded to an apartment fire in the early morning on Wednesday in Crosby.

Crosby Rural Fire Chief Darwin Anderson reported crews responded to a fire believed to have ignited between 2:30-2:45 a.m. Anderson said no one was injured in the fire, but multiple families were displaced. Neighbor Douglas Anderson provided shelter to the displaced as firefighters extinguished the fire.

Chief Anderson said the cause of the fire is pending an investigation by the State Fire Marshal.
