The Salvation Army will host a craft show today and Saturday from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at itsMinot location, 315 Western Ave.

“This will be a general fundraiser for our organization so that we are able to continue to assist the community members of the Minot area.” said staff member Julie Reed. The craft show will consist of individuals selling their homemade items, door prizes and a free will donation box located at the front entrance.

“Our church also donated items for sale as well as a few items we will raffle off,” Reed said.

The Salvation Army has been in the Minot community for years assisting individuals in times of crisis by providing services such as rent and utility assistance, back to school backpacks, winter coats for children, holiday meals, toys for children during Christmas, men’s and women’s ministries and a local food pantry.

“We look forward to seeing everyone and being able to continue to help the Minot community,” Reed said.
