ND Cowboy Hall of Fame announces 2025 inductees
MEDORA – The North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame has announced seven individuals selected for induction into its Hall of Honorees.
The nominees are recognized for their exceptional character and unique contributions to preserving and promoting North Dakota’s rich western heritage and lifestyle, according to NDCHF information.
The 2025 NDCHF Inductees are:
– Pre-1940s Ranching: Andrew Nohle, McKenzie County.
– Modern Era Ranching: Lester Anderson, Ransom County.
– Pre-1970s Rodeo: Esley Thorton Sr., Mountrail County.
– Modern Era Rodeo: Peggy Ward, Sioux County
– Modern Era Rodeo: Ed Hall, McKenzie/Mountrail Counties
– Western Arts and Entertainment: Kaye Burian, Dunn County,
– Great Westerner: Dr. Victor Hugo Stickney, Stark County
Formal public recognition of the 2025 inductees will begin on Friday, June 13, with a celebratory dinner at the NDCHF in Medora. The official induction ceremony will follow on Saturday, June 14, at Tjaden Terrace in Medora. The event is open to the public.
