Area students will receive scholarships totaling $10,000 from Town & Country Credit Union.

The credit union announced the following local awards:

– Katy Roise, Roise Homeschool. Minnesota State College, band instrument repair.

– Kennady Dewitz, Minot, Minot State University, social science education.

– Maecey McKibbin, Minot, Dakota College of Bottineau, dental hygiene.

– Natalee Becker, Minot, University of North Dakota, physical therapy.

– Nicole Couture, Minot, Montana State University, sociology & criminology.

– Paige Reiter, Minot, Minot State University, medical laboratory science.

– Taylor Spaulding, Surrey, Minot State University, nursing.

Also receiving awards were Reagan Koppelman, West Fargo; Tanner Cadwell, Glyndon, Minnesota; and Alison Toay.

This is the fourth anniversary of the scholarship program.

High school seniors who are members of the credit union were invited to submit essays answering the question, “How do you plan to make a positive impact in your desired career field?”
