North Dakota State University Extension is offering a free QPR Suicide Prevention Certification workshop on Tuesday, Dec. 10, at 1 p.m. in Minot Public Library. Participants will become equipped to recognize the warning signs of suicide and take action. Participants will learn how to question someone about suicide, persuade them to seek help, and refer them to appropriate resources.

This workshop is for everyone. No prior experience is needed. Participants will receive a certificate at the end of the workshop that will be valid for two years. Contact the Ward County office of NDSU Extension with any questions.
