FARGO — A groundbreaking ceremony for a new two-story, 19,000-gross-square-foot outpatient Mental Wellness & Recovery building will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. on the main VA Hospital campus in Fargo.
The event will feature remarks from Json Petti, interim medical center director, and Teresa Imholte, associate chief of staff for mental health.
The construction of the outpatient mental wellness and recovery facility is a significant
milestone, marking a new chapter in the VA’s ability to provide world-class mental well-being and
recovery support to more than 34,000 veterans at its 10 community-based outpatient clinics
throughout North Dakota and northwest Minnesota.
The future facility will provide additional opportunities to expand the Post Traumatic
Stress Disorder clinical team, Behavioral Health Interdisciplinary Program and
Substance Use Disorder Intensive Outpatient Program.
