Injuries reported after McLean County crash
GARRISON – The occupants of two vehicles were transported to a local hospital for treatment after a crash on U.S. Highway 83 on Thursday
According to the McLean County Sheriff’s Office, local agencies were called to the scene of the crash at the 6-mile corner heading into Garrison at the intersection between U.S. Highway 83 and N.D. Highway 37 shortly before 3 p.m.
Anita Ann Arnold, 71, Bismarck, was driving a 2008 Ford Mustang and struck a 2015 GMC Sierra pickup driven by Dustin Duane Seidler, 40, Garrison, causing the truck to roll over onto its side. Seidler was reportedly trapped inside the vehicle following the crash, and a passenger of the Mustang remained inside.
Ambulances from Garrison and Max were dispatched to the scene to transport victims to a local hospital.
Traffic was briefly halted to remove the damaged vehicles, and the scene was cleared shortly after 5 p.m. Seidler was cited for failing to yield, according to court records.
