Recounts in Ward County were conducted Monday to determine office holders in Berthold, Surrey and Ryder park district races. The election was June 11.

Elected to four-year terms on the Surrey Park Board were Travis Dalby, Derek Brown and Ethan Carter. Elected to the two-year, unexpired term was Steve Johnson. All were write-in winners.

Ryder Park Board candidates Peggy Reinish and Patricia Ouellette were elected along with write-in Marlene Otteson, whose name was drawn to break a one-vote apiece tie with another write-in.

The Berthold Park Board four-year terms were determined by a drawing that selected Randy Kunz, Tyrell Hanson and Ryan Storro. The three were among eight eligible write-ins who each received one vote. The two unexpired, two-year terms were filled by Alisha Debilt and Patricia Deaver through a drawing. There were seven eligible write-ins who each received one vote for the two-year term.
