Driver involved in crash near Trenton dies

TRENTON — A Williston man who was involved in a two-vehicle crash about two miles west of Trenton on Monday has died.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, David Ferrell, 70, Williston, died from his injuries at a Minot hospital on Wednesday.

Ferrell was driving a 2019 Can-Am Defender, and rolled through a stop sign onto Highway 1804. The Can-Am was struck on its driver side by a Ford F-150 traveling east on Highway 1804. Ferrell was taken to a Williston hospital and then flown to a Minot hospital.

The crash remains under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
