Man arrested for terrorizing SE Minot business

A 40-year-old man was arrested and charged with seven counts of terrorizing and preventing arrest/discharge of other duties, both Class C felonies, in connection with a terrorizing incident at a Minot business on Monday.

According to Minot Police, the department received a report of a man acting disorderly in a busy southeast Minot business about 11:45 a.m.

Reports indicated the suspect was arguing with another customer in the business and threatened to kill all the other customers. Upon arrival, officers located the suspect, Cody Joseph Reese, with no fixed address, who was still arguing with a customer. Officers intervened but Reese refused to comply with officer commands.

Reese was arrested and transported to the Ward County Jail without further incident.

The incident was isolated. Police said there was no ongoing threat to the public.

No injuries were reported during the incident.
