Lewis and Clark State Park to hold Golden Glow Hike
EPPING – Lewis and Clark State Park will host a Golden Glow Hike as part of its year-long 50th anniversary celebration.
The event kicks off with an art activity in the amphitheater located in the center of the campground on Friday, May 24, at 7 p.m. Participants can make glow-in-the-dark bracelets and face masks. All supplies will be provided free-of-charge.
In the evening on Saturday, May 25, the campground will be vibrant with glow sticks and visitors are encouraged to wear neon-colored attire. The Golden Glow Hike will start at the amphitheater at about 10 p.m., after sunset. Visitors may bring along their own glow-in-the-dark decorations to add an extra touch of brilliance to the festivities.
Please note that quiet hours will be delayed until 11 p.m. to accommodate hikers.
The park charges a $7 vehicle entrance fee unless a current North Dakota Parks and Recreation Department annual pass is displayed.
